Back to School Blends

Using doTERRA Essential Oils

Can you believe that it's this time of year again? Back to school time. It may seem like our children just got out of school, and many of us wish we had a longer summer time break, for more family vacations and more traveling. We know that with back to school time, comes Fall and then Winter shortly there after, with our daylight time getting shorter and our degrees outside getting cooler. I certainly know that feeling of wishing we had just a little more time at the beach or the pool, but nonetheless, the children are headed back to school.

If you are like me, then you want your child to be prepared for school time. You will go out and buy the markers and pencils, the backpacks, the crayons, the notebooks and binders too. We are probably going to the school open house events, touring the school, and meeting the teachers as well, but did you know there are other things that we can do to help prepare our children for school, even on a daily basis, especially when it comes to using doTERRA essential oils.

With our essential oils, we can help our children be more prepared for school by getting a more restful nights sleep, in hopes of them waking up easier and happier in the mornings, and feeling better at school throughout the entire day. We can also mix up blends of different oils that will help our children with enhancing their senses and sustaining their focus on their tasks pertaining to school. And of course, we all know that dreaded "L" word that no mother ever wants to hear, but it still tends to come around during the school year. LICE in the classroom. But have no fear, because we can even make a Do It Yourself Lice Repellent Spray!

No matter your age, staying focused on our task at hand, can sometimes be difficult. This can especially be critical during younger years when learning and growing are creating habits and building a foundation for life. Give this blend a try to help enhance the senses and sustain focus, when children are trying to study and concentrate.

We all know how important it is to promote relaxation and lessen our feelings of tension. It is especially important to calm our emotions, calm our mind and soothe our senses, before trying to go to sleep, and it can be even more important for our little ones before bedtime. We need our children to get a restful nights sleep, so that they are well rested the next morning, and throughout their day at school. Give this Sweet Dreams Blend a try, to help promote relaxation for your children, and to promote a restful sleeping environment.

While no mother ever wants to get the call from the school nurse, or get the letter sent home from the teacher, informing her of lice being in her child's school or classroom, but unfortunately, it still happens. Lice spreads very easily too, but we can help to repel these pesky little buggers this school year, through using essential oils that have been reported to help deter and repel lice.
